Sweet Potato Toast

  • 1 large sweet potato Rinsed and optionally peeled
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For roasting
  • to taste salt and pepper Salt and pepper For flavor, depending on topping

Method
 

  1. Wash and slice the sweet potato into ¼-inch thick slices lengthwise.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and bake for 15–20 minutes until tender and slightly crisp.
  3. Alternatively, toast slices in a toaster on high for 2–3 cycles until soft and slightly charred.
  4. For air frying, preheat to 375°F (190°C), arrange slices in a single layer, and air fry for 8–12 minutes, flipping halfway.

Notes

Slice evenly for uniform toasting and adjust cooking times based on your appliance.
