Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Mix in sugars, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to wet mixture. Fold in strawberries and lemon juice.
  4. Drop dough onto baking sheet; bake 12-15 minutes until edges are golden.
  5. Cool cookies on wire rack before serving.

Notes

Chill the dough for better handling if needed.
