Method
- Sear chicken in a skillet until golden brown.
- Place chicken, vegetables, potatoes, garlic, and bay leaves into slow cooker.
- Sprinkle thyme, salt, and pepper; pour broth. Add flour if thickening.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Ladle into bowls and garnish with parsley.
Notes
For a thicker stew, add more flour or cook uncovered for a bit longer.
