Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan with brown butter.
- Melt 30 ml brown butter until golden, then cool.
- Mix brown sugar, white sugar, pumpkin, eggs, milk, cooled brown butter, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
- Whisk dry ingredients and fold into wet mixture. Pour into pan.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for 15 minutes.
- Prepare glaze by browning butter, then whisk with maple syrup, powdered sugar, vanilla, salt, and milk until smooth. Pour over cooled bread.
Notes
Ensure not to overmix the batter to keep the bread tender.
