Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a loaf pan with brown butter.
- Melt 30 ml brown butter until golden, then cool.
- Whisk together wet ingredients, then sift dry ingredients over and combine gently.
- Pour batter into pan and bake for 40-45 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Make the glaze by browning 25 g butter, then mixing with maple syrup, powdered sugar, vanilla, salt, and milk until smooth. Cool slightly and pour over the bread after 15 minutes of cooling.
Notes
Ensure not to overmix the batter to keep the bread light and moist.
