Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Filling
  • 1 tablespoon Nutella for stuffing the cookies (approximately)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add dry mixture to wet ingredients, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  6. Flatten a small portion of dough in your palm.
  7. Place approximately 1 tablespoon of Nutella in the center.
  8. Fold the dough over the Nutella, sealing it to form a ball. Repeat.
  9. Arrange cookie dough balls on baking sheets, leaving space between each.
  10. Sprinkle the tops of the cookies with chocolate chips.
  11. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  12. Cool on baking sheets before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For an extra gooey center, chill the Nutella in the freezer for about 30 minutes before stuffing the cookies.
