Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs, one at a time, then vanilla extract until well combined.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add dry mixture to wet ingredients, stirring until a soft dough forms.
- Flatten a small portion of dough in your palm.
- Place approximately 1 tablespoon of Nutella in the center.
- Fold the dough over the Nutella, sealing it to form a ball. Repeat.
- Arrange cookie dough balls on baking sheets, leaving space between each.
- Sprinkle the tops of the cookies with chocolate chips.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on baking sheets before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For an extra gooey center, chill the Nutella in the freezer for about 30 minutes before stuffing the cookies.
