Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Powdered sugar for dusting

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix dry ingredients.
  2. Cream butter and sugar, then add egg, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla.
  3. Combine dry and wet ingredients. Form dough balls and place on baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Cool and dust with powdered sugar.
