This moist and flavorful pumpkin bread is perfect for fall. Easy to make and irresistibly delicious, it's a treat for any occasion.

Ingredients
  

Wet ingredients
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Optional mix-ins
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans optional
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix pumpkin, sugars, oil, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
  3. Whisk together dry ingredients and add to wet mixture; stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in nuts and chocolate chips if using.
  5. Pour batter into pan, bake 60-70 minutes, cool before slicing.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice instead of individual spices.
