Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix dry ingredients; set aside.
- Cream butter and sugars; add salt, vanilla, eggs, then dry ingredients.
- Stir in chocolate chips and nuts; drop onto baking sheets.
- Decor with sprinkles; bake 8-10 minutes until golden.
- Cool briefly on sheets, then transfer to wire racks.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and cool on racks.
