  • 1 batch angel food cake cut into cubes (store-bought or homemade)
  • 3 cups whipped cream (or cool whip for convenience)
  • 1 cup vanilla pudding (or Greek yogurt for a healthier alternative)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Method
 

  1. Wash and prepare your fruits. Hull the strawberries and slice them. Rinse blueberries and set aside.
  2. Prepare vanilla pudding according to package instructions or whisk Greek yogurt with vanilla extract.
  3. Layer angel food cake cubes at the bottom of trifle cups, followed by a layer of pudding, and then add strawberries and blueberries.
  4. Spread whipped cream over the fruits and repeat layers until cups are filled, finishing with whipped cream.
  5. Refrigerate for at least an hour. Garnish each cup with mint leaves and optional coconut flakes before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, use light whipped cream and sugar-free pudding.
