Ingredients
  

Pasta Salad
  • 1 pound pasta rotini, penne, or farfalle
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes halved
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella balls small or medium, halved or quartered
  • 0.5 cup fresh basil leaves chopped
Dressing
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • Balsamic glaze for drizzling (optional)

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta, drain, and rinse with cold water. Set aside to cool.
  2. Combine pasta, tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour dressing over pasta salad and toss gently.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Toss gently before serving, drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired. Serve chilled.
