Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Mix dry ingredients; set aside.
- Cream butter and sugars; add eggs and vanilla. Combine with dry ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheets.
- Decorate with sprinkles if desired. Bake 8-10 minutes until golden.
- Cool cookies on racks before serving.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and let cool on the baking sheet.
